More on our experts…

Jonathan Lidbetter

Jonathan has 35 years of experience in the horticulture sector in research, development and production primarily related to Australian native plants in the ornamental sector. His main area of interest relates to industry appropriate technology for the propagation and cultivation of new crop lines. He has spent the last 8 years as Production Manager at East Coast Wildflowers, focused on the commercial production of Australian native cut flowers.

Scott Degenhardt

Scott has over 30 years of experience in agriculture/viticulture, and has currently been working at Muirs for 7 years. He has a great interest in wildflowers, with his involvement starting professionally 6.5 years ago, when he became enthused by the energy and passion of the growers he met. Initially just looking for supporting products into the industry and with much encouragement and advice, has been able to expand that knowledge and utilise his Muir Group contacts to assist growers. He has a strong interest in seeing growers connect with quality products and information and utilising the network to improve practices.
