The Conference is pleased to be offering a limited number of scholarships to eligible young growers or horticultural students to enable them to travel to and attend the Conference. Applicants must be under the age of 35, currently enrolled as a student in horticulture, agriculture or a related course at TAFE or university, and/or working on a flower farm. Preference will be given to those applicants who have some on-farm or nursery experience.

Each scholarship is valued at up to $2,000. It consists of:

1. Full conference registration - this includes the Friday conference and dinner and the Saturday farm bus tour visiting farms in the region.

2. It also includes up to $1,200 towards travel and accommodation costs.

If selected, you will be required to submit a written report on your conference experience (approximately 300 words) which will be published in an industry newsletter.

You will need to submit an invoice plus receipts to claim up to $1,200 towards your travel and accommodation costs – this will be paid on receipt of your final report.

The conference organizing committee will choose the winners by mid-May.
