WFA have included reports prepared for and created by participants of several Trade Missions to Japan to cooincide with the IFEX Trade Shows. These included IFEX2006 facilitated by the Australian Flower Export Council (AFEC) and IFEX2007 and 2008 promoted and organised by WFA Ltd.

These reports are made available to WFA members.

WildFlowers Australia Ltd has embarked on a series of activities to help to improve the value of Australian grown wildflowers in the Japanese market. One of these activities is the holding of a series of Presentation Events in Tokyo. The aim of the Events are to enhance value of the Australian grown wildflowers product by;

• developing relationships as part of the traceability strategy,
• improving quality by streamlining the delivery process,
• expanding the cool chain from farm to florist,
• developing a year round supply by offering product from all around Australia and
• providing improved feedback to growers regarding the quality and standard of their shipments.
