7th China Flower Expo

WildFlowers Australia Ltd (WFA) was invited by the Australian International Association for Trade and Commerce Ltd (AIATC) to participate in the 7th China Flower Expo Beijing held from 25 September to 5 October 2009. WFA offered the opportunity to participate to all members of WFA. WFA membership network includes over 120 businesses in Australia. Most of these businesses are producers of Australian grown wildflowers located in WA, SA, VIC, NSW and QLD.

The Expo was held at an impressive site in the Beijing area. It covered four large multi storey halls and an outside area and catered for a broad range of ornamental and amenity horticultural businesses, industries and included displays from many Chinese provincial areas. An impressive opening ceremony prepared the visitors for the attendance at the Expo. 

The WildFlowers Australia display preparation was led by Lynch Flowers’ John Khalil and his team of floral designers and staff. Over 900 Kg of flowers and foliages were used in the display.
